AN EXHIBITION SPACE,

SoHigh Gallery provides a space for independent artists and creatives that allows the artist to retain full control of the presentation of their work and brand.
ART EVENTS: The gallery is available to Artists and Curators for solo/group exhibitions, performances and pop-up shops. Fees and duration are negotiable and tailored to requirements. They range from venue fee only with no commission, to no venue fee and higher negotiated commission.
RETAIL STOCKROOM: For established artists that would like a retail presence in the South-side of Melbourne and artists that may have pieces in their own stock that they would like to retail, we invite you to join our retail stockroom where we feature art in a retail context online and in the gallery space in between art events and also feature on the walls during other events.
VENUE FACILITIES
The exhibition space is approximately 250m2 over 2 rooms. Gallery Room 1 is 100m2 and Gallery Room 2 is 150m2
Cyclorama - 3 paper (4meters high) with coloured paper of your choice available as an optional extra.
Make up room - 2 station make up room.
Caterers Kitchen - Located in the Gallery Room 2, it includes 2 fridges, standard oven, microwave, preparation bench, coffee/tea facilities and serving bar.
Toilets and Shower - One male, one female bathroom and one shower. They can be used as unisex.
Laneway Access - Bump-in and out through the stairs that lead to the entrance in Mechanics Lane.
Three Phase Power - Access to 1 three phase outlet (5 pin).
Optional extras:
Furniture and Equipment Packages - These include, projector, Canon 5DMKIII, lights portable bars, couches, tables, dry bars etc…
Installation - Assistance with installation is optional.

Our space offers a unique atmosphere to display your work, replacing the dull, sterile décor of standard retail stores with our quirky charm.
We also invite you to join our retail stockroom. Here we give artists the chance to sell their work online and in the gallery space. Your art can also be featured in the walls during other events we hold in our venue.
